Is it Brad Pitt???

Wow! He's cute with & without hair!!!! We had a family party and a ceremonial unveiling of Bobby Snow without hair~as he allowed our daughter-n-law to do the cutting (now that's family love)!! Melissa did the photo shoot and Justin, Layla, John & I were the cheerleaders. Brad Pitt look out!
Tomorrow we go for our fitting at the radiation oncologist for his mask. This will protect other parts of his brain while they zap the remainder of any of those bad cells that may still be hanging out in his noggin...Please pray for peace and continued trust that God has us covered and in the palm of His hand.
"And we know all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose". (Romans 8:28)!!
As we rest in His perfect plan we covet your prayers that strengthen and lift us into the presence of the King of Kings!!!
PS: Bobby Snow says Good Lord willing he's planning to go to Smith Mtn. Lake this summer and trick ski backwards/forwards and board with all our friends and family...we'll see you there!!!

  6. Hey Bobby & Elaine;

Yep, kind of looking at Brad Pitt but I think much cuter. Bobby, you not only look good very short hair but that cap you wore last night makes you look very handsome. We will have to make sure that we go to SML this summer just to watch you do your tricks with that ski board. There's not a day that doesn't go by that the Lord doesn't bring you and your family to my mind and heart reminding me to continue to pray without ceasing. I love you guys.

  8. Jeez, I don't know. You had that Peter Tork look (from the Monkees)and now, well, you kind of look like Bruce Willis. Are you sure you didn't sign up for the Marines while you were in Annapolis?

  13. You know you're God's favorite, right? He told me so. And I believe Him.

Keep up the faith. All He wants is your undivided attention and love, the faith of a child. May God be praised for His favor and protection over you, Bob Snow. Your God is an awesome God. I am blessed through you and Elaine. Keep smiling, and I'll keep praying.

  15. We are praying for you everyday (and then some more), dear Bobby! This scripture jumped out at me, specifically for you and for Lara--

"One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, and to meditate in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies (tumor) around me; And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord."

  17. Bobby and Elaine,
You know that you are in my prayers. I love you so much. I've been sharing with many Christian brothers and sisters that my brother in Jesus is in need of healing. People all over are praying. I even asked people I just met in church this morning to pray for you.

Our God is the same God today as He was in the days Jesus walked among men.

    Mark 5:21-43

21When Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him; and so He stayed by the seashore.

22One of the synagogue officials named Jairus came up, and on seeing Him, fell at His feet

23and implored Him earnestly, saying, "My little daughter is at the point of death; please come and lay Your hands on her, so that she will get well and live."

24And He went off with him; and a large crowd was following Him and pressing in on Him.

25A woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years,

26and had endured much at the hands of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but rather had grown worse--

27after hearing about Jesus, she came up in the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak.

28For she thought, "If I just touch His garments, I will get well."

29Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.

30Immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that the power proceeding from Him had gone forth, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched My garments?"

31And His disciples said to Him, "You see the crowd pressing in on You, and You say, 'Who touched Me?'"

32And He looked around to see the woman who had done this.

33But the woman fearing and trembling, aware of what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.

34And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be healed of your affliction."

35While He was still speaking, they came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, "Your daughter has died; why trouble the Teacher anymore?"

36But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, said to the synagogue official, "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe."

37And He allowed no one to accompany Him, except Peter and James and John the brother of James.

38They came to the house of the synagogue official; and He saw a commotion, and people loudly weeping and wailing.

39And entering in, He said to them, "Why make a commotion and weep? The child has not died, but is asleep."

40They began laughing at Him. But putting them all out, He took along the child's father and mother and His own companions, and entered the room where the child was.

41Taking the child by the hand, He said to her, "Talitha kum!" (which translated means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!").

42Immediately the girl got up and began to walk, for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were completely astounded.

43And He gave them strict orders that no one should know about this, and He said that something should be given her to eat.

    Jesus is still healing today.

Bobby, I know you are a child of God, my brother in Jesus. If God were to take you home tonight, I know I will see you again, but I admit I am selfish. I want to be able to see you, hug you, and tell you I love you for many years to come in this world.
