Day by Day

It is hard to believe that one week ago tomorrow, we along with so many loved ones waited to hear the outcome as Bobby went through a left craniotomy...aks brain surgery! And that only three days later we were getting the boot from the hospital!!! We do want to say that there is only grand things we could say about AAMC...and our time there. The staff, nurses, techs, and drs. were amazing...but most of all God has been so amazing from the beginning of this journey and Bobby says we WILL give Him all the glory for what He holds in the future.
Not much more to say accept Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your prayers...Please keep them going as God leads you. Bobby will get His stitches out on Monday, and we will meet with our Oncology team on Friday, 23rd...and we will know what our treatment plan will be.
Bobby continues to heal...his black eye is turning yellow...good sign..that he will soon be back to his usual good looks!!! Your cards and encouragements via blog have been great reading for him..bless you....it is truly a gift of love.
We are still trying to limit visitors..but I'm sure Bobby could use some fresh scenery besides my face & the fams...so if you would like to visit please call first...and we will see what's what for that day.
Much love,
Elaine & Bobby

  2. "Bobby continues to heal...his black eye is turning yellow."

    So you're taking up boxing? It's too soon. Sit back and enjoy the winter scenery. There will be plenty of time for rough housing and hay rides later on. Gives new meaning to the "fight of your life" doesn't it.

    It's amazing that you are healing so fast. Praise the Lord for he has done great things!

  5. Jesus said,all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them and they will be granted to you!!!!

    A friend of mine from God's country Colorado sent this statement: One of the mysteries of God in his dealings with man is that for certain things he has voluntarily limited himself to our prayers. Thus there are things that he wants to do that he will not do until and unless one of His children ask him to so act. Therefore, one of our greatest stewardships as disciples of Christ is to commune with the Father, to discern His will...and to then faithfully pray His will into reality. AMEN - It's not like a democracy where He counts the votes. He just likes it when we ask. The more who ask, the more who get in on His Joy and His Will.

  7. Bobby--4:30 Friday afternoon you can expect a delivery of cinnamon buns. I'll call before I come, and Elaine--or whoever is home-- can meet me in the driveway. I still have a bit of a cold, and I can't imagine being the one who makes you have to sneeze (ouch)
    I have been praying for both you guys and the Websters that God will use you in all the places He sends you. Right after the part about the miraculous healing.
    Love you all.

  11. So Everyone- I hear Friday at 4:30 is a good time to visit the Snow's. Don't know if those cinnamon buns will make it through the door- yum.... Remember to always share with thy neighbor. It was great seeing you guys out walking the other night. I'm quite impressed, yellow eye and everything.

    I always remember Bob saying he wanted to be just like my Dad when he grows up. Well I hope Dan and I are just like Bobby and Elaine when we grow up. I always feel the love you both have for one another. It is the greatest.

    The weeks coming are going to be tough. We are praying for you and can't wait to get to the lake and chill in Cow's Cove with the Snows.

  13. Hey Bobby & Elaine;
    Psalm 61:2...when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Remember...in the midst of ALL circumstances God's grace, peace and joy are there. The tears will still come, the pressures will be felt and so will the temptations. But you have God's strength in your life to face the circumstances in which you live at the moment. David has given us the example of trusting HIM, even in the excruciating valleys of life.

    I love you both

  14. Hey you dear ones!

    I have finally figured out how to communicate via blog! It has only taken a week! I love it, it helps keep you close. We have been storming heaven for you. Little Cal (kinda big now), has been praying morning and night about you, Bobby--and for Lara, and for his Papa George--for your complete healing.

    Heard about your fun outing today and how good you look--praise God! We will look forward to seeing you soon. Know that you are dearly loved, and that we are all in this with you!

    much love,

  18. Mom just told me about all of this today. I am so incredibly happy to hear how well you're doing!

    Not surprising, though... we do have tough genes in our family! Think you might have taken after Grandmom (Millie) just a little?... :-)

    Sending you well wishes and sunshine from San Diego!

    Love,

  23. Bobby & Elaine;
    Good to see you both and spend some time with you. Psalm 91...He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. If you reread this beautiful Psalm you will discover that in Him we have a permanent abode and residence and that all of the comfort, security and affection which the human heart craves are found in Him. Perhaps no visible angels will appear in your life...none have in mine thus far...but God's promise of security is nonetheless real and certain.

    I love you both
    Betty
